

RCM Music Theory Group Classes
Develop strong music theory skills in a supportive group environment, from RCM Preparatory Level through ARCT.
Classes cover the concepts appropriate to each RCM level, including notation, rhythm, scales, intervals, chords, harmony, analysis, and musicianship skills.
Whether you are preparing for an RCM theory examination, completing theory requirements, or simply looking to strengthen your understanding of music, these classes provide structured and progressive instruction.
In-person and online classes available.
Schedule
Thursdays: 4:00–9:00 p.m.
Sundays: 3:00–5:00 p.m.
Specific class times are organized according to level and enrolment.
Tuition: $45 per class, per student
Classes are offered through the Long & McQuade Vancouver Lesson Centre.
About Your Instructor
Trésor Otshudi is a choral conductor and music educator currently completing a Master of Music in Choral Conducting at Messiah University.
His teaching approach connects music theory with practical musicianship, helping students understand not only what is written on the page, but how musical concepts function in the music they perform.
Trésor teaches students at different stages of their musical development and works professionally as a conductor and music educator in Vancouver.
RCM Theory Group Classes are offered through the Long & McQuade Vancouver Lesson Centre.
